The third draft of the outline for my third book, The Rotten Core, is complete and ready to send to my editor! Here are the details:

Right now the outline is 42 chapters and 22,996 words long. This is an average of 547 words per chapter, which is right around what I want. I aim for about 500-600 words or 1 page of text per chapter at the outline level.

The next step is to send this outline to my awesome editor for review. There are a few points I’m not sure about and this will be my first multi-protagonist book so it will probably change a bit once I get feedback but I think the core of the story is good.

I also updated the cover art for this one to show the new title and to change the tint color from purple to blue. It came out pretty nice.
